Danske stednavne indeholder ca. 120.000 danske stednavne. Heraf er ca. 25.000 autoriserede af Kulturministeriet (Stednavneudvalget).
Ressourceformål: Danske Stednavne (DS) fungerer som en fælles reference, der benyttes på tværs af forvaltningsområder og sektorer. Stednavne sikrer en bedre lokalisering af begivenheder og en mere præcis kommunikation.
