Leaf: Statistical Units Dataset: LAU boundaries from Eurostat’s GISCO distribution service
LAU (Local Administrative Units) are the municipal level below NUTS 3. GISCO publishes them yearly at 1:1M, with population and area per unit.
Denmark: the same units as the municipalities
In Denmark the LAU units are the municipalities, so this is a second, generalised geometry for the same identity that DAGI holds at full resolution. The IDs are formatted differently:

LAU changes yearly as municipalities merge or split. GISCO keeps all versions at https://gisco-services.ec.europa.eu/distribution/v2/lau/; the frontmatter lists the 2024 version.
