Transport
Transport studies ask how people and goods move, and how well places are connected: by public transport, by bicycle, on foot and by car. The analyses work on networks — roads, cycle paths, timetables — rather than on straight-line distance, and they often combine the network with where people live and work.
Typical questions
- How far can people get within a given time, by public transport, bicycle or on foot?
- Which areas are poorly served, and for whom?
- Where are cycle routes missing or interrupted?
- How would a new line, route or on-demand service change accessibility?
