Housing studies
Housing studies ask who lives where, in what kind of dwellings, and under which tenure. In Denmark the material is the registers: BBR for buildings and dwellings, DAR for addresses, and statistics built on CPR, all tied to address points. Quantitative place analysis aggregates those points to areas, so the choice of areas is part of every result.
Typical questions
- How do dwelling size, age and tenure differ between neighbourhoods?
- Where is new housing being built, and how does it differ from the existing stock?
- What do the register categories (rented, owner-occupied, social housing) actually contain?
